Exercises To Flatten Your Belly While Watching TV

 
Many of Americans spend some amount of time on the couch watching American Idol or their favorite sporting event. In the meantime their belly's become soft and lose their sexy tone. 

The unfortunate fact about that statement is that the time spent on the couch watching the tube is more than the time that people spend participating in physical activity. In addition to surfing the tube on the couch most of us like to have a bevy of snacks to enhance or entertainment experience.

This is doubly bad as the time of the day when these activities take place is late at night, right before we hit the hay. What happens when we eat late at night? That's right, our body's convert those consumed calories directly into belly fat.

There are a couple of options that could remedy this scenario. One of which is not to eat late at night while lounging on the couch. The other option is do a few while exercises while your enjoying the game or struggling through some chick-flick that you are forced to watch. So multitask, flatten your belly while watching the tube!

The one exercise to lose belly fat while watching tv is called a "AB Vacuum". This exercise can really be done anywhere at anytime. Driving, at the office, church, waiting in line at the grocery store. The list goes on and on.

What is an Ab Vacuum?
An Ab Vacuum is an exercise that involves you clenching your abs and sucking-in your belly button for 10 to 20 second intervals. Feel free to do as many reps as you would like to do. However, it is important to not that you will not lose any fat doing this exercise, but you will strengthen and tome your core muscles. This exercise is an especially good idea for someone who is leaving the gym, stuck in traffic or in the kitchen cooking their families meals.

One other exercise aimed directly at those who are lying directly on the couch is the leg lift. While lying on the couch and flat on your back, simply lift both of your legs evenly off of the couch (about 3 to 6 inches). Hold your legs off the couch for three to five minute and repeat two to three times. This particular activity will strengthen and tone your lower ab muscles, not to mention strengthen your lower back as well.

The last flat belly exercise is the knee lift. Again with this activity you need to be lying flat on the couch or the floor (preferably the floor for support). Next, bend your knees to a 90 degree angel and raise them into the air. At this point, you be gin to pull your knees into you chest, always maintaining your knees at a 90 degree angle. This is yet another exercise that will and tighten your lower abs and back.
